EXTREME FITNESS IS IN FASHION
On March 31st Extreme Fitness is partnering with Koi Swimwear and Miss Universe Canada to make fitness fashionable in support of Sick Kids and SOS Children's Villages.
During the whirlwind of LG Fashion Week FITNESS IS IN FASHION will feature the top twelve 2010 Miss Universe Canada (MUC) contestants modelling Koi Swimwear. The MUC Beauties take to the runway at 11pm to showcase the sultry new Koi Swimwear collection and to mark the launch of the new Koi site - www.koiswimwear.com.
This exclusive show will be held at Brant House, 522 King Street West and all guests will receive a $50 gift certificate for Koi Swimwear.
Designed by Jennifer Nadj, Koi offers the best of both worlds with a runway-inspiried swimwear collection that is glamourous and easy to wear. Koi combines elegant imported fabrics with high quality craftsmanship to ensure each piece is a pure luxury item.
Created in 2002, the Beauties of Canada organization has had the exclusive rights to send a Canadian representative to the Miss Universe Pageant. Since 2003, the MUC organization has strived to be an active member of the GTA community and is proud to have developed a strong relationship with SOS Children's Villages and Sick Kids Hospital.
SOS Children's Village is an independent, non-governmental social development organization which has been active in the field of children's needs, concerns and rights since 1984. It's activities focus on neglected and abandoned children and orphans, as well as disadvantaged families. SOS Children's Villages is currently raising over 78,000 orphaned and abandoned children in more than 125 countries by providing them with a home, an SOS mother and a sense of belonging. In addition they provide education, training and medical care for children in the Villages and surrounding regions.
The Hospital for Sick Children, affiliated with the University of Toronto, is Canada's most research-intensive hospital and the largest centre dedicated to improving children's health in the country. As innovators in child health, Sick Kids improves the health of children by integrating care, research and teaching.
