At Extreme Fitness, Hip Hop dance is one of the most popular cardio-centric Group Fitness classes. It is conducted at several locations in Toronto, especially in the GTA. Hip Hop is a high-energy class that uses the latest in popular music including R&B and top 40 hits. Its movements are influenced by some of the hottest video choreographers.
Hip-Hop dance engages every muscle in the body with an emphasis on the core. Many Hip-Hop dance moves require simultaneous movement of two or more body parts, which makes this form of dance a fun yet challenging way to get in shape. Fast moving and continuous rhythmic dance moves burn calories galore! Classes encompass movements that have elements of popping, locking, house and free style movement that allow participants to develop their own sense of style. These classes are designed for intermediate to advanced level participants.
